I work with children and families who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, aggression, self-esteem, depression, school problems, family issues, self-regulation concerns, attachment issues, trauma, and behavioral problems. One of my specialties is play therapy. I believe in a holistic approach to working with children, so I also work with parents to help with parenting.
I work with tweens and teens and addressing the unique challenges of the adolescent years. I've found that it is often helpful for adolescents to have an unconditionally accepting relationship with someone outside the immediate family. Additionally, I work with parents to help facilitate better communication and how to best meet the adolescent's needs.
I work with adults dealing with a wide array of concerns, to include anxiety, depression, anger, grief, loss, work stress, relationship concerns, and trauma. I also work with parents to help them navigate the specific challenges that arise when raising and interacting with their children. Furthermore, I have extensive experience working with clients who are sexual abuse and incest survivors.
