Thank you for visiting my website, I'm so glad you are here! Just a few things about me:
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), nationally certified counselor (NCC), and registered play therapist (RPT) in Fort Worth, Texas. I received my masters degree in Counseling & Development from Texas Woman's University in 2012 and earned my doctorate in Counseling, specializing in Play Therapy, from the University of North Texas in 2016.
I've been working with clients, of all ages, for over a decade. I love my job and feel incredibly blessed that I get to walk beside clients during their counseling journey. I am passionate about working with clients - this is both my passion and my calling. I work with clients across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults.
My approach to counseling is to facilitate a therapeutic relationship based on unconditional acceptance, truly "being with", and walking with the client as they travel through their therapeutic journey. I meet each client where they currently are and try to help clients as they move through their world, their problems, and their pain. I work from a holistic approach to counseling, meaning that it is important to understand all aspects of my clients (i.e. emotional, social, behavioral), in order to best work with, and help, my clients as they navigate through counseling.
I come from an open-minded approach, and am accepting and affirming of all my clients. Counseling needs to be a space in which clients feel safe, valued and validated, and not judged for their experiences.
